The Ukrainian company WINFLY has confirmed the first combat downing of a Russian Shahed-136 drone using the WINFLY Nexis FPV interceptor.
The interception took place at a speed of over 250 km/h with the engine running at 84% thrust. Objective control results confirmed the complete destruction of the target in the air.

The company’s products have been leaders in the segment of intercepting enemy reconnaissance wings, “Lancets,” and “Molniyas” for over two years, so the transition to countering high-speed targets was only a matter of time.
According to the engineering team, they completed the journey from idea to successful interception in almost a year. The product concept is completely original — no solution was copied, and every component is well-thought-out and balanced.

Technical and Economic Advantages
An important advantage of this tool compared to analogs is the flight time — Nexis provides up to 25 minutes of operation.
In addition to technical characteristics, the company offers a lower price compared to market analogs with similar performance specifications. According to calculations, the cost of the basic version will be approximately 1,100 euros.
Founder’s Comment
We are extremely pleased that our tools have stood up to protect Ukrainian cities from constant Russian terror by “Shaheds” and “Gerberas.” The current version is manually controlled by pilots, but we have been working on autonomy features for our interceptor for some time. We are already integrated with radars, the detection system is in development, and autonomous interception will also be implemented in the future.
Our vision for the coming year is fully autonomous interceptors that can be launched and controlled from anywhere in the world.”
Key Specifications
